Meeting Minutes December 1, 2008

The December 1st meeting of the Eden Homemakers was held at the home of Treva Schilling. The Christmas decorations and candle lights gave us a very warm welcome. Treva gave a very interesting talk on her chalk art for devotions and closed with prayer. Senior Counselor Lois Rife gave a reading "By the Grace of God I am what I am".

Sherry Schilling, Treva's daughter-in-law gave a very beautiful program on Christmas, singing many Christmas carols. Sherry and Treva have such great talent to share.

Jackie Mosman reported that fourteen shoe boxes were prepared for the children.

Treva, Edna Armstrong and Martha Jennings will buy a ham and deliver the Christmas basket to the LaRoe family. Remaining food products will go to the food pantry.

Cletabelle Barnes asked for past information on the Eden Homemaker functions.

Lois conducted a bag game by reading "The Night before Christmas".
What fun! Thank you Lois for the cute gifts.

The next meeting has changed location. We will meet at Union/Salem church.

Carolyn Anderson and Lois served a delicious blueberry desert as we all sat around Treva's beautifully decorated table with candle light.
