Sharon McGuire welcomed sixteen members and one guest for the March first meeting of the Eden Homemakers. Our annual potluck was enjoyed by all. Sharon fixed chicken and ham balls with everyone bringing a covered dish. Lin Bils and Amy Hill assisted with the meal. Sharon offered prayed before the meal. The tables were decorated in a purple theme, our Senior Counselor, Marilyn Baughman’s chosen theme for the year, which is purple gems.
Marilyn welcomed everyone present and gave the reading "March". The meeting was called to order and Lin gave devotions on St. Patrick. Those in attendance responded to the roll call, by answering what exercise do you enjoy doing.
Secretary, Sharon read the December minutes after which the Treasurer’s report was presented. Both were approved as read.
Under old business, the food basket for the LaRoe family and the food pantry were discussed along with the pancake/sausage dinner/supper.
The home remedies from the November meeting will be printed by the Secretary, Sharon.
